The DV14 is protected by a 15Amp thermal fuse. The thermal fuse ensures that the DV14 switches off with a short-circuit or overloading. The advantage of the thermal fuse us that when the problem has been fixed you only need to press the "reset" button and the DV14 starts working again. The DV14 works on 230v. It has a maximum power of 15Amp.
